Ein bisschen nach draußen gehen.
Fotos machen und entspannen.
Das war mein Plan für diesen Tag,
der doch so schlimm begonnen hatte.

Die Natur sollte es sein.
Unberührt, lebendig.
Wie in einer Endlosschleife knipste ich.
Alles, was grün war. Was sich bewegte.


Doch was ich haben wollte, war etwas anderes.
Es sollte alt sein, und doch so lebendig.
Man sollte altes Leben vor sich sehen.
Es war nicht diese Natur, die ich wollte.

Ich ging weiter, immer weiter.
Erkannte Orte, welche bereits von mir besucht wurden.
Knipste immer mehr und mehr.
Jedoch fand ich kein altes Leben.

Doch Irgendwo hier musste es sein.
Irgendwo. Immer weiter.
Ich befand mich schon lange außerhalb der Stadt.
Ein paar letzte Versuche, ihn einzufangen.
Den Sonnenuntergang. Ihn zu fotografieren.

Und trotz der Vögel. Es war nicht das Leben.
Weiter, immer weiter.
Der Wald kam immer dichter.
Der Weg wurde holpriger und unsicherer.

Ich stand vor ihm.
Ein Schauer fuhr mir über den Rücken.
Ich meinte, sie hören und sehen zu können.
Hier musste es liegen, was ich suchte.

Der Weg, so steinig und lang.
Hier müssen auch sie gegangen sein.
Diesen Weg, so wie ich ihn jetzt beging.
Er würde mich zu altem Leben führen

Ich öffnete das Tor.
Eine Vielfalt der Gefühle.
Trauer, Angst, Respekt.
Und letzenendes doch das Leben.

Ich fotografierte und fühlte mich gut dabei.
So wie es eine Gedenkstätte der Toten sein sollte.
Es wäre für mich genau so eine Gedenkstätte an das Leben.
Das Leben, das ich an diesem späten Nachmittag suchte.

Ich schloss das Tor.
Und sah wieder den Weg, welcher mich geleitete.
Als ich mich ein letztes Mal umdrehte
Da sah ich auch ihn

Er muss in meinem Alter gewesen sein
Seine Kappe erinnerte mich an die Meines Opas
Sein Größe an die meines Bruders
Sein Lächeln an das meines Vaters

Und sein Bild, so mag es auch nur noch meinem Kopf existieren.
Es erinnerte mich an das Leben.
